Phillip stood at the altar his crossroads, the halcyon days of his youth lay behind him, and the turbulent days of adulthood lay before him. Was he ready? That question kept running through his mind. He had time; the door over there not 30 feet away from him was freedom. He could make a break for it and be free to find himself or maybe find out who he really was. He was jarred back to adulthood when the music began; he turned, saw the woman he loved, dressed in her beautiful wedding gown, escorted by her father, walking down the aisle. Soon, very soon, they would be married, and those turbulent days that lay ahead, he would share those days and nights with his wife.
