When I was much, much, younger, and there were such things as dial telephones and party lines and big square wooden box black and white televisions and only one color television set in the whole neighborhood and AM radio. We were so lucky to have three television stations to watch, and I can remember the Local Phone Company running a 30 second or maybe it was a minute advertisement about their yellow pages “let your fingers perambulate the yellow pages to find what you are looking for and save you time and steps.” Now we have the internet and the yellow pages have almost become extinct just as the dial telephone did.
