  • Ice cream maker Waring WCIC20 ice cream maker



  • 2 cups whole milk
  • cups whipping cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 to 3 drops green food coloring optional
  • 6 oz dark semi-sweet chocolate chopped fine



  • Mix milk, whipping cream, sugar, salt, vanilla, peppermint extract, green food coloring (if using), and chopped chocolate.
  • Pour into the insert of ice cream maker and make according to ice cream maker instructions.
  • Serve immediately for soft serve ice cream or place in an airtight container and place in freezer for a few hours or overnight for a firmer ice cream.
