  • 494 g FLOUR ALL PURPOSE
  • 480 g SUGAR GRANULATED
  • 10 g SALT
  • 5 g BAKING POWDER
  • 12 g MILK NONFAT, DRY
  • 310 g SHORTENING
  • 212 g WATER
  • 339 g EGGS WHOLE, LARGE (6)
  • 10 g EXTRACT VANILLA
  • COOKING SPRAY NONSTICK

Instructions

Method

  • Sift together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and milk into mixer bowl.
  • Add shortening and water to dry ingredients. Beat at medium speed for 7 minutes. Scrape down bowl.
  • Add eggs and vanilla slowly to mixture while beating at low speed. Beat at low speed for 7 minutes. Scrape down bowl.
  • Lightly spray each pan with non-stick cooking spray. Pour batter into each sprayed and floured pan ⅔ to ¾ full.
  • Using a convection oven, bake at 325 F. for 1 hour 5 minutes or until done.
