- 494 g FLOUR ALL PURPOSE
- 480 g SUGAR GRANULATED
- 10 g SALT
- 5 g BAKING POWDER
- 12 g MILK NONFAT, DRY
- 310 g SHORTENING
- 212 g WATER
- 339 g EGGS WHOLE, LARGE (6)
- 10 g EXTRACT VANILLA
- COOKING SPRAY NONSTICK
Instructions
Method
- Sift together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and milk into mixer bowl.
- Add shortening and water to dry ingredients. Beat at medium speed for 7 minutes. Scrape down bowl.
- Add eggs and vanilla slowly to mixture while beating at low speed. Beat at low speed for 7 minutes. Scrape down bowl.
- Lightly spray each pan with non-stick cooking spray. Pour batter into each sprayed and floured pan ⅔ to ¾ full.
- Using a convection oven, bake at 325 F. for 1 hour 5 minutes or until done.
