HONEY WHOLE WHEAT BREAD DRESSING WITH SAUSAGE
Ingredients
INGREDIENT:
- 8 oz CELERY FRESH, CHOPPED
- 8 oz ONIONS FRESH, CHOPPED
- ½ oz COOKING SPRAY NONSTICK
- 2 ½ lbs BREAD HONEY, WHOLE WHEAT, SLICED
- 1 lb SAUSAGE PORK, COOKED, DICED
- 5 cups CHICKEN BROTH
- ½ tsp THYME GROUND
- ½ tsp SEASONING POULTRY
- ¼ tsp PEPPER BLACK, GROUND
- ½ oz COOKING SPRAY NONSTICK
Instructions
Method
- Lightly spray non-stick cooking spray in heavy skillet over medium heat Break up sausage, stir-cook stirring constantly for about 10 minutes.
- Lightly spray non-stick cooking spray in heavy skillet over medium heat. Stir-cook celery and onions for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Combine bread and sausage. Pour cooked vegetables over bread and sausage; toss lightly.
- Combine stock, thyme, poultry seasoning, and pepper; add to bread mixture. Mix lightly. DO NOT OVER MIX.
- Place mixture into each lightly sprayed pan.
- Using a convection oven, bake at 325 F. 1 hour.
