- 2 ½ c FLOUR ALL PURPOSE
- 1 tsp SALT
- 3 tbsp BAKING POWDER
- 1 tsp SUGAR GRANULATED
- 1 tbsp MILK NONFAT, DRY
- ⅓ c WATER WARM
- 2 EGGS WHOLE, LARGE
- 1 can 14.5 oz CORN, CANNED, CREAM STYLE
- 2 tbsp BUTTER MELTED
- OIL VEGETABLE FOR FRYING
Instructions
Method
- Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, sugar, and milk into mixer bowl.
- Combine water, eggs, corn and butter or margarine; mix well.
- Add corn mixture to dry ingredients; mix until well blended. Batter will not be smooth.
- Drop 2 tablespoons batter into 350 F. deep fat.
- Fry 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drain on absorbent paper.
