  • 2 ½ c FLOUR ALL PURPOSE
  • 1 tsp SALT
  • 3 tbsp BAKING POWDER
  • 1 tsp SUGAR GRANULATED
  • 1 tbsp MILK NONFAT, DRY
  • c WATER WARM
  • 2 EGGS WHOLE, LARGE
  • 1 can 14.5 oz CORN, CANNED, CREAM STYLE
  • 2 tbsp BUTTER MELTED
  • OIL VEGETABLE FOR FRYING

Instructions

Method

  • Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, sugar, and milk into mixer bowl.
  • Combine water, eggs, corn and butter or margarine; mix well.
  • Add corn mixture to dry ingredients; mix until well blended. Batter will not be smooth.
  • Drop 2 tablespoons batter into 350 F. deep fat.
  • Fry 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Drain on absorbent paper.
