FRENCH FRIED OKRA

- 2 lbs OKRA FROZEN, CUT
- 1.5 c FLOUR ALL PURPOSE
- 7 g SALT
- 1 g PEPPER BLACK, GROUND
- ½ c CHEESE PARMESAN, GRATED
- OIL VEGETABLE, FOR FRYING
Instructions
Method
- Partially thaw okra. Break large pieces apart.
- Combine flour, salt, pepper, and cheese. Dredge okra in flour mixture; shake off excess.
- Fry in 375 F. deep fat fryer for 2 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve immediately

Fresh cut okra may be used in place of frozen.
