  • 2 lbs OKRA FROZEN, CUT
  • 1.5 c FLOUR ALL PURPOSE
  • 7 g SALT
  • 1 g PEPPER BLACK, GROUND
  • ½ c CHEESE PARMESAN, GRATED
  • OIL VEGETABLE, FOR FRYING

Instructions

Method

  • Partially thaw okra. Break large pieces apart.
  • Combine flour, salt, pepper, and cheese. Dredge okra in flour mixture; shake off excess.
  • Fry in 375 F. deep fat fryer for 2 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve immediately

Fresh cut okra may be used in place of frozen.
