- ½ lb BACON RAW
- ½ small head CABBAGE GREEN, FRESH, SHREDDED
- ½ stick BUTTER UNSALTED
- 1 tsp SALT
- ¼ tsp PEPPER BLACK, GROUND

METHOD
- In a large cast iron skillet cook bacon until crisp, crumble bacon.
- Fry cabbage in skillet in butter and rendered bacon fat for 10 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently to avoid scorching; add bacon.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
